  1. How to protect your dog from other dogs
  2. If you are walking your dog where it is safe for your dog to be off the lead, then let it be! Don't forget that in your dog's mind it is not on the lead - you are - and it will do all it can to protect you.

    Most (generalisation) dogs that stop to say "hi" to your dog are friendly but if you are on a lead then your dog will feed the need to protect you and ... a fight of some sort is bound to occur.
