If you have a few handbags you use all the time fill a pocket in each with emergency supplies - safety pins, plasters, Nurofen, lip balm, hair bands etc.

Carry a small bag (drawstring is a good idea) with plasters, painkillers, glam lipstick (to glam up any outfit), mascara, eyeliner, powder compact (shine and greasy roots), safety pin/ threaded needle, lucozade tablets and chapstick.
