How to use concealers

Apply concealer with a specialist brush from the back of your hand, not the palette. Dab the area with a blotting tissue after applying foundation and then put the concealer on a small amount at a time. If you get too much onto your face, roll a cotton bud over the area to blot it off. This is a bit of a faff, but does work on Use liquid illuminators on dark shadows.

If your under eye concealer seems too dry for your skin try mixing with a tiny amount of eye cream and apply with a cotton bud.

also, if spot goes dry and scabby (from picking it!) use a TINY make-up brush to aply concealer right in the cracks in the uneven surface, otherwise these stand out.

Look for coloured concealers for under foundation. Green neutralizes any red blemishes and blue under the eyes not only masks circles, it brightens the whites of our eyes.
