we shed naturally approx 100 hairs a day as the glow naturally nothing will stop this and new hairs replace the old ones. the only time you need to worry is if its falling out and bald patches are forming this is known as alopecia caused by stress/medication or illness in that case consult your doctor
Best go visit your doctor. If it's nothing to worry about, he'll reassure you, and if there is something wrong, it's better to get it diagnosed and treated early.
As the earlier poster said though, we do all shed hair on a daily basis. I lose loads - the quantity depending on the time of year - and I've still got loads left!
I agree with below. I wash and condition my hair nearly every day and always get quite a large clump of hair come out but my hair is in good condition and my scalp is healthy so I never give it a second thought. (Just have to make sure I use a plug hole cover so that I can put it in the bin rather than block the plumbing - that would NOT be good!) if you're still worried speak to your GP and/or an experienced hairdresser. x
