Use a microfiber cloth and water.
An excellent method of removing makeup and exfoliating dead skin cells.
Waffle weave cloth works best for exfoliating.
Instead of using cotton or tissues to remove make-up, keep a muslin cloth in the bathroom and use that. The super thin ones (that come with Eve Lom's cleanser etc) dry super quickly
The body shop sell small face towel pieces to take your make up off with. They come with a little wash bag so you can stick them through the wash with your clothes. It would be easy to make your own from an old towel and use a persil tablet bag to keep them together in the wash.
Cleansing removes the old make up and the grime and dirt that have accumulated through out the day. Here is how the face should be cleansed:
*Remove mascara with a cotton bud that is dipped in eye-cleansing lotion.
*Remove eye shadow by wiping with a cotton ball dipped in eye-cleansing lotion.
*Pour face cleansing cream into your palm and apply generously over nose, chin, forehead and cheeks
*Massage the cream into the skin, begin from under the throat and move to the top of your forehead with your fingertips.
*Remove cream from face with tissue pads. Begin from under the chin, and then move to the cheek and then to the forehead.
if you run out of cleanser , oryou are on a tight budget , milk is an excellent make up remover and skin cleanser , it will even remove some mascaras too ,place on a cotton wool pad /ball and wipe across face and neck untill all make up is removed , you'll be amazed ,rinse with warm water ,This is especially good if you have dry or sensitive skin.
