I'm fine with people being proud of their religion, but I get really cross when they shove it down my throat. Is it absolutely necessary for you to "state your christianity"? If people ask me, I tell them I am not religious, but it's really not something I expect to come up in everyday conversation. Your religion is personal to you, so why worry about stating it? I'd wait until I was asked.
