Take kelp tablets! I had very fine wispy hair as a child which i used to pull out and my mother made me start taking 5 a day. It works. Also, it speeds up your metabolism improving weight loss which can only be a good thing!
I heard to take pre-natal vitamins. They have more of the vitamins that make hair grow. I have done it a few times since I like to have long hair and it seems to work--not just for hair but for nails too!
Because of the menopause my once healthy, shiny hair started thinning and got very dry. I tried lots of very expensive shampoos and conditioners to help put the moisture back in, but without success. Then I read about Nourkrin and thought I would give it a try. At first I did not notice any difference and thought I had wasted more money but I stuck with it, and I am so pleased that I did. My hair is now thicker, stronger and healthier and because of this it's growing quicker than ever. The only problem now is that I have had to increase my visits to the hairdressers!

Sounds crazy but it works. Take 2mg of folic acid every second day for at least 3 months. You will notice a difference and your nails will grow more quickly and stronger as well. Women who are pregnant are told to take this, and hairdressers that I have consulted agree that this should help.
I ask a hairdresser if I cut my hair a little will it grow longer as she said no as this is just a myth all it does is make your hair look healthy and shine so I am sorry girls but it is just a myth
Buy some calcium supplements. Not just any calcium though. Try to find some calcium lactate (I recommend Standard Process brand) because this type is absorbed into the soft tissues of your body and not just your bones. I've noticed a major difference in my hair's growing time because of it. You'll also be at lower risk for osteoporosis!
Getting your hair cut is good, even though it won't make it grow faster, it will keep it in good condition as it grows. Apparently nassaging the roots of your hair regualy is a good way to get hair to grow. X
Here are a few ways:
Oil your hair regularly, As for which oil:
olive oil is definitely the best and also enhances the thickness of hair
Despite this I have asked hair and scalp specialists, who believe that an oil is after all just an oil, even simple cooking oil does the job.
Remember to warm your oil .
Try not to comb your hair when it is wet
Most importantly, while you are at home ( in case you do not want to do this outside) tie your hair in a plait. Specialists believe a tight plait( a comfortable amount) helps circulation of blood in the scalp.
Use good shampoos: try L'Oreal Elvive and Dove, I've heard Pantene is good..these shapoos help nourish the strands.
With these tips your hair will definitely grow faster, I use them, my hair is to my knees, but then again I am pretty short :)
Biotin (Vit B8) as mentioned below is good, but will work even better when combined with lecitin and brewers yeast. Another good idea is essential rosemary oil massaged into your scalp after shampooing. Scalp massage will always be beneficial for hair growth, and the rosemary oil invigorates and speeds up growth. The oil is not greasy and does not need to be rinsed out. Another wonder cure is Extra Virgin Coconut oil taken orally and massaged into hair and scalp at night.
