This is a personal choice. Don't let anyone push you into getting an abortion. You do not HAVE to have one. If you feel in your heart you want the baby then you should follow your heart. Pray on it. I was 16 when I got pregnant, had the baby who is now 20 years old. He is going to college to become a physician. He is smart, has a great sense of humor and is inspirational to me and many others. He brings me so much joy and happiness. I never regretted having him for a single day. It was hard in the beginning but hey, life is not always easy. (I married his father and we are happily married for 20 years) Good luck.

Before deciding on an abortion make sure you do all the research on it! Make sure you know what you're latting yourself in for! And don't let anyone pressure you into it! There is counseling available for you after the abortion as well, make sure you take it!

Probably the most awful decision a woman ever has to make. You don't have to have a termination at all, it is up to YOU. If your baby has a disability, then depending on what it is, truly it is not the end of the world but do take advice urgently. This possibly makes it easier for you to make a decision as you have to think of the baby's quality of life and who will look after baby later on if you cannot. If your baby is healthy you really will have regrets over the years which will be tortuous for you but my belief is that having the baby cannot possibly be worse than not having the baby. I hope you and your family can get through this.

It will be with you for the rest of you life. I had one when I was 19, I dont regret it as it was the best decision for the baby and I would do the same again. Now at 33 I have my first child and am in the best position to give her everything she needs. What I regret was the fact that I got in that position in the first place. There is not a day that goes by that I dont think about it. Whatever decision you make BE SURE. If you have the baby or not it will be with you for the rest of you life. Dont let anyone make you, it is YOUR decision, if you dont want it DONT let anyone make you. There is not a problem that cant be solved.

1: Dont be scared, which ever decision, u wont be the first. Get some support: ur G.P/ Family Planning Clinic. 2:Research both keeping and aborting the baby. Does this research help ur decision. If u want to keep the baby & dont have the father's support but it's not the end,ur child will hopefully have male's around from other sources. It may not always be fun and games but nothing is all of the time. 2:What is your gut feeling, u know urself better than anyone do what you want to do. There is always support out there, hopefully ur family will support the whole way if not, friends are the family ur not related too! 3:If an abortion is for u than u have nothing to be ashamed of... it was right for u at the time in ur life but think about it, this really is a life changing decision.

Although I am against abortion, from your question it sounds like you're being pressurised into making this desicion by someone else. Maybe the baby's father, maybe your parents. If you're not 100% happy with the idea you need to find someone to talk to. There are many other options, like adoption. There are so many women out there who can't have children and would love to be given the chance. This way you won't have the guilt that will live with you forever, was it the right thing for you to do.

clearly you do not want to have the abortion so dont tell your famly/ partner how you feel and that you are wanting to keep the baby. it is your decision and nobody elses. also the doctor will not issue or sign any letter asking for you to have the abortion if you are not entirly sure about having it done. good luck with what ever you choose think about how you will feel in the future with each decision you could make

Its a horrible decision, please think about adoption as there are stacks of folk out there who would love a baby. In the end, don't let anyone else decide, you have to make your own decision or you will resent anyone who pushed you into a decision for the rest of your life. And a practical final comment, make sure your contraception in future is foolproof as possible. Consider a mirena coil as these are very reliable, and mean you don't have to remember to take a pill every day. You can't leave contraception to chance. All the best Zxx
