My parents are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. Any tips to surprise them and make them feel special? I'm holding a party for them, any more?
Why not try an experience they can both share, like hot air ballooning or a day trip to Paris with lunch for 2 etc...

Might give you some inspiration. If you can rally round a few family members and close friends you can get them a memory to have for the rest of their lives.....
You could have all of the guests write a story about how they first met your parents in a scrapbook before the party. This gets interesting and gives a broad look at all of the years they've been married, especially if you can get stories from people they've known for all of the 25 years. And you can include stories from guests who can't attend just by sending an e-mail or making a phone call.
Or you could have everyone write what they learned about marriage from your parents' marriage.
And, of course, you could make this scrapbook an actual physical book, or a cd rom, or a dvd . . .
Can you think of something special (within your budge somehow) that they have always wanted to do but thought it might be extravagant or silly since they had financial responsibilities up to now. I E dy trip to Paris just for lunch, weekend in Paris or another city they always wanted to see.? A trip to see a family member or friend who cant be with them for your party? Perhaps get a copy of the Times for their wedding day? If they like flowers you can have a rose or a star named after them. If they support a charity then a major donation if they have enough "things"? Old family or friends they havent seen for years but would like to at their party? Just a few thoughts and I hope they party is verfy special and you all enjoy it;)
My parents are also celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this summer. Why not get them reservations for a romantic meal at a nice restaurant, or arrange a family photograph.
