For two servings:
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
4 ozs. dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons sugar
1 heaping tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
Pinch salt
Heat all together over low heat and whisk towards the end to blend in the chocolate. Everyone raves!

How to make great hot chocolate

A drop of Baileys (a drop of course is how you think of as a drop) added to the hot chocolate takes it to a whole new dimension.

Just use a normal hot chocolate but put some marshmallows and grated plain chocolate on the top or even squirty cream, heaven!!!

for a quick fix to an ordinary hot chocolate, drop a square of chocolate in the bottom, even better some easter egg! when its melts, stir it in.

after making a normal cup of hot chocolate, melt some white chocolate in the microwave and then add it to it. it adds a extra taste. you can always do this with vanilla.

For lovely instant hot chocolate: start by filling the cup ½-full with hot milk and adding chocolate mix. Stir vigorously and add remaining warm milk after all clumps are dissolved.

Fill the biggest mug u have 3/4 with milk, pop in2 microwave for 1 and 1/2 min, take out and add a sachet of cadburys highlight hot chocolate, stir quickly, add 2 or 3 fluffy marschmallows (optional) put back in to microwave for a further 30secs. yum,yum.

put some powder in. then put some milk in which just covers the powder and stir til its got little bits. then add hot water and it goes bubbly at the top. add marshmallows and cream. taste sensation

It costs about £60 but its worth it because you get hot and cold water instantly, it boils much faster than a kettle so you dont exactly need one! The boxes of these cost around £3 but you get plenty in there! Everytime you make a hotchocolate/coffee etc it comes out all throthy and creamy, and its not too hot so you can gulp it down straight away!

Galaxy do a pretty amazing hot chocolate. Put the powder into a large mug and cover with an inch of milk, mix it all together so that you get a bubbly kind of paste. Add the rest of the milk and pop it into the microwave for a couple of minutes. Take it out and give it a good whisk...voila, creamy heaven!
