All the above suggestions are obviously a lot more sensible and moral but if revenge (but only a little bit) is what you want then tape a piece of raw fish to the underside of his car seat, or somewhere similary difficult to reach. After a few weeks (especially if the weather is warm) the smell will be unbearable and very difficult to find where it's coming from!

Don't let those people have one more minute of your soul! Living well is the best revenge, and while you go about living well, working hard, and doing for others, you will gradually heal yourself from the hurt which was imposed on you. Take the high road; it leads to much nicer places.

Here's a peach that was passed to me by a male friend: Ok, so you've finally seen the light and decided to leave that scum bag boyfriend of yours. Unfortunately, leaving means you are abandoning your shared accommodation. You want to leave with your dignity by being the adult in the situation ( i.e. not burn his CD collection and give all his cloths to the homeless) but you just can't bear that he's getting off so easily either. Hit him with this subtitle but effective revenge tactic: Batteries. Turn every batteries from every appliance in the house the wrong way around. Do not remove! If they've been removed then it becomes obvious whats happened. You want him to wonder if all his stuff is broken. That means the TV remote, mouse, keyboard, power tools, anything! It'll drive him mad for weeks.

Came across a really funny website, ratmail.com. it's hysterical just to read, but the truth is: never sinking to any skunk's low level will make you feel better about yourself, better than any temporary revenge tactic. Dress well, do your nails, be your utmost feminine self and you will always prevail.

Sometimes revenge is the only way to go... especially if they've really hurt you, and knowingly done it too. A good one I've heard is similar to one below, and involves raw fish.... Get some pilchards or really stinky fish and depending on wether he has them at home stuff them inside the hollow of a curtain pole. After a few weeks, the smell will really be unbearable and men being men won't ever think to look in the hollow of the pole! One guy that had this done to him (he's sent his wife packing and got his new bird to move into their home... didn't change the locks though) didn't know what it was, they got cleaners in but it still remained so they moved... and took the curtain poles with them!! Satisfaction guaranteed!

All these are great, I would definately say, just live life to the full & be happy... do more things with your friends and family and when they see your having fun and looking great, they will regret the day they ever hurt you! Also unless you are certain of your revenge plan and know it iwll work, dont do it.. because in my experience when they dont rteact it leaves them on the winning side and you feeling bitter and upset! x :]

Revenge really can back fire n you could be the one to get hurt again. Ive been there n thought I had perfect revenge, only thing is the person I was aiming it at wasn't bothered at all, I was hurt all over again. My advise is just show your happy and over it (even if not) or just be prepared that it might not go according to plan. xx

It's all well and good to let bygons be bygons but why should they get away with it? I heard of a woman who planted watercress in all of her ex's carpets while he was away with his new woman. he had to have the carpets replaced!

but along your journey...be sure to have learned from your heartache or break....and try real hard not to EVER let it happen again. Make future guys or jobs.. whatever earn your respect, admiration and devotion. Dish out your best in increments after they prove they are worthy. and ALWAYS pay attention to red flags and put your eggs in more than one basket. Bottom line.....LOVE YOURSELF FIRST.

Revenge is really unhealthy, but you can always act it out again and again in your head - quite satisfying, and it always goes exactly the way you want it to!! After a while, your desire for revenge will fade....... Or, why not become creative, and write a book or a short story in which you get your perfect revenge. You can even try and get it published!! Better than revenge, though, is to wish your tormentor nothing but the best and move on to better things. Don't give them anything to laugh at!

I do agree with the above suggestions that it's healthier to just let it go. The most fun bit is just plotting in your head anyway! I heard of this woman who filled old prawn shells with caviar and then sewed them into the fabric curtain hooks of her exs curtains. he and his new girlfriend couldn't work out what the smell was and could never get rid of the smell!!!!!!

Not to mention revenge makes your soul sticky... I've mentioned this in another tip, but it's apropos here: The opposite of love isn't hate, it's apathy. Why let someone take up so much of your thoughts and have that much power over you? If they get off on knowing that they are driving you to distraction, then they are getting EXACTLY what they want. Allow them to become nothing to you and you will ultimately get what YOU want.

I was hurt badly by my ex, and it took 8 months to get over him. One thing i found cheered me up was getting revenge. I managed 2 steal his shoe at a party. Watching him search the house for an hour getting overly stressed and people laughing at him made me smile. As did seeing him walk home in the rain with 1 shoe on :)

I always find that if someone is mean/nasty/spiteful etc., just smile, rise above it and BE BETTER because they are only digging their own grave with that kind of behaviour. What goes around comes around and it will come back to bite them on the behind - trust me, it always does. It has to, otherwise they would never learn that it's inappropriate behaviour, would they? Being happy and living your own life to the full can be the sweetest revenge of all.

I went out with a man for a couple of months a few years ago who was all sweetness and light and then literally disappeared overnight - no calls, no explanation, just gone - how rude! I wasn't heartbroken, but I was seriously miffed. Anyhow, I was out in town a couple of months ago and there he is, standing a few yards away from me! He saw me looking and waved, but I just carried on scanning the pub, as if I hadn't even recognised him. I know it was childish, but if I managed to make him feel even slightly insignificant, my work here is done! ;0)

i know that you should rise above it and be the better person and that is probably the healthier but revenge is fun, also some hurts go too deep just to walk away and you also get alot of closure if you have one last payback and then when you think of them you will laugh and you will wont think of all the bad things they did but the one you did to them.

If it's revenge on a mean boyfriend/partner you want, be really, really understanding and absolutely refuse to judge or complain at them. Lend them your favourite things.. do favours for them.. be specially friendly to all their friends and relatives. They'll be totally confused and upset. THEN you do the revenge thing, whatever it is.....

I think all these solutions are absolutely fab! Chances are, if you show that you're upset about something, than the person who has done you wrong is winning-if you hold your head up high and be the bigger person, it will definitely tick them right off! and something that always consoles me in situations like this is karma....what goes around comes around. they'll get what they deserve eventually-so why lift a finger trying to get revenge if it's going to be done for you? get on with your life, watch and wait..and eventually you'll hear news that that person got what was coming to them!
