How to get rid of a tint gone wrong

You can’t take it out completely, but the best thing to lighten a tint gone wrong is to wash it repeatedly in Johnson’s Baby Shampoo.

Saturate hair in olive oil and leave for 20 minutes, it won't remove the tint but will calm it down.

My stylist says Prell works best to lift out color. Condition well afterward. If you dyed your hair at home, the instructions will have a toll free number to call and they will tell you what color to apply to correct it.

Epsom salts also calms down a tint gone wrong - particularly on hair that has turned darker than expected. Use 2-3 cups per bath.

Sounds a bit strange, but trust me on this - if I want to lift the colour from my hair a touch, I wash it a few times in Fairy Liquid. Has always worked for me, but do use a good intensive conditioner afterwards. Loreal Kerastase do the best.

Well i have the exactly same problem a few years ago and i went to my hairstylist and he said that he could definetly give me streaks to blend in with the tints so they dont look as bad and at first i thought ui dont want this to go bad too but once he did t it looked fabolous and i have had it like that ever since!
