If you want to know how long you should brush your teeth for, imagine singing Happy Birthday to yourself twice over. It cheers the morning up no end. And you should get into the habit of doing pelvic floor exercises at the same time.
Some 12 years ago my dentist told me my gums were so bad she may not be able to save my teeth unless I bought a Braun Plaque Remover which had just come on the market & was fairly expensive. I bought one & could never go back to a normal tooth brush again. They are now not expensive & most have a timer light on. Well worth buying.
PS I kept my teeth!!!
A tip Ive gotten from the dentist is to use a timer, (those three min sand ones) that lenght of time should be result in super clean teeth and gums. Also you should scrape your tongue for a really hygenic mouth clean;)
I brush mine for 3 minutes, then you know you've brushed for long enough! Have 1 minute then spit and rinse your toothbrush, then another minute then another.
