You should be totally thrilled... Millions of overbearing women try to train their men to do exactly that so that they don't pee all over the floor and seat! Just don't mention it to any of his friends - but you should definitely see it as a bonus.
Give him a break. I think some things should remain "mysterious". Close the door when using the bathroom! Then you can both use the toilet however you want.
Its not weird, my boyfriend does it and it looks as if a mojority of everyone elses does too, i think its just one of those things but its not so bad!
However if you really dont like it put one of those toilet smellys that hang on the toilet right at the front, my boyfriend once complained that they "burn" his privates so maybe that will stop him sitting down when peeing!
I agree that it does avoid misses over the side which we get to clean up as guys never seem to see it!! AND it also warms the seat up ready for you, if you go in after him!!
I asked my boyfriend why he did it and his reply was "So he doesn't dribble on the seat"
(but I think it's lazyness)
It's great because the seat is always down :-)
I don't know if its a solution but when I asked my man why he sits down when he pees sometimes he simply said that sometimes hes too tired/drunk to stand, and its easier to sit. I didn't argue with him! I like sitting down...haha And I agree with the less mess!
Isn't it up to him how he relieves himself so long as it's hygenic?! Does he comment on you choose to use the toilet?
R-E-S-P-E-C-T
I'm sure you expect this from him too.
Weird? Not to have to worry about the wee yellow splashes around the toilet? That's a huge plus in my book.
And it's not so unusual; some guys just find it easier to pee sitting down. Why should women be the only ones who get to rest during that time?
My partner does the same. Not only does it avoid the over the side spills, but remember now, you dont have to fight who leaves the toilet seat up or down, because its constantly down, plus I like it when Im in the bath and partner needs the toilet, we chat and laugh, he sits on the toilet tinkling and reading his boy mag. I dont think I would find a bath relaxing if I had to watch my partner stand and shake it all over. You know men though, they think about the world on the toilet. Also sometimes he goes to the toilet thinking he needs a #2 but changes his mind.
don't worry about it is my advice!.
As others have said before, it has its benefits in the fact there is less mess. To be honest, I close the door when I am on the loo, I think its nice to still have a bit of privacy when using the loo and do we really want to watch our other halves performing bodily functions????. It takes the romance away somewhat right?!. Just close the door, don't look and above all, don't worry about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
