De-clutter! Spend a couple of days sorting through everything you own, chuck out all the stuff you no longer use nor want, and get a box to store stuff you can't bear to part with but don't want to see lying around. You don't realise the positive effect this will have on you.
On a day to day basis, get a diary/personal organiser. This way you can plan ahead, and you will no longer be double booking yourself. Don't forget to mark in those evenings where you can spend the whole time pampering yourself alone. I find writing "SOS meeting" in these slots works.
I read somewhere that if you just let yourself feel every emotion to its full exent eg. if you feel angry at something just let that anger wash over you and eventually that feeling will pass. This can clear things up and make life a little easier to handle.
In other words don't try and stop yourself from feeling upset/sad- just tell yourslef that 'this too will pass', and hopefully you'll get through things alot easier :) hope this helps xx
