Scars fade gradually over time. The best thing to use is vitamin E cream which is avaliable on its own or in lots of moisturisers. There is also a good product called bio-oil, which is used for stretchmarks and scars etc. It is quite greasy so use it sparingly, but it should hopefully help you out x
Acne scarring is nothing to play around with! Go to a dermatologist, ask for Accutane, a good moisturizer, and endure the dryness that goes along with the treatment. I took Accutane for cystic acne as a teenager and in my early 30's no scars are detectable. You also need to find out from the dermatologist what type of face products you should be on. Another option for a skin care regimen is to visit a plastic surgeon or an onstaff facialist at a plastic surgeon's office to obtain skin care with prescription level creams, etc. This is not a problem to be diagnosed online-go to a doctor!
Basically you shouldn't cover them, foundation etc isnt' gonna work and its most likely to bring more spots to the surface.
Try getting laser treatment if your willing to pay the price! or ointments from health stores
I had really bad acne scarring. Bio Oil is quite good for all round skin care and will out the skin tone and minimise scarring..It's also a cheaper option. An even cheaper option would be to apply a thick paste sparingly to the face, of gram flour, live yougurt and a tiny bit of tumeric (too much and you'll look yellow)...this takes a bit more time and will eventually really even out the skin tone (my mum swears by it).. you'll need to do this every other day and leave it on for about half an hour or untill you can feel it getting tight. At the moment I'm using the Elemis Tri-Enzyme resurfacing programme (along with the facials) to get rid of my acne scarring...I have to admit it has worked wonders!..A bit on the pricey side though.. facials cost £45 and the products average on about £17-£95.
well it wont completely get rid of them but there is a cream called Bio Oil that minimises the look of scars you can buy it from most places but i would suggest getting it through your doctor because the prescribed version is stronger and works better also, it will be cheaper than buying it from a supermarket. my sister had a huge operation at the age of 1, it has minimsed the appearance of her HUGE scars in about 2 months xxxx
