I use as little make up as possible as I look 'painted' very quickly.
I ALWAYS use moisturizer with a high SPF, in winter: Oil of Ulay Complete Care, in summer: Avon Face Moisture Cream (SFP 30). I use a gentle cleanser to avoid blackheads.
I use black waterproof mascara from Kolour (Superdrug), it's cheap but doesn't leave little crumbles under the eyes. I use an eyeliner that matches my eye colour, black or dark brown is much too strong for me. I also use light brown, beigy or lighter green eyeshadow, again, no too dark colours.
I only use a small amount of light coloured foundation (Avon Personal Match Foundation in Ivory or Nude) and similarly coloured powder which I dust on lightly with a big brush. I use peachy, brownish and rose coloured lipsticks; I look vulgar in bright red. Hope that helps...
My essential make-up kit is:
Rimmel Cool Matte in Ivory - 100% idiot proof! (even I can use it ;))
Collection 2000 Eyebrow Definer - don't go too heavy on it or you'll look like Frieda Karlo
Vasline lip balm - the stuff in the small circular tin
And 17 trio eyeshadow in 'barely there'
10 minutes and I'm good to go!
I have extremely pale skin (Russian heritage), blonde hair and blue eyes. It took me years to find beauty styles which suit me, and I went through some disastrous phases in school.
Unfortunately for us pale blondes, it is extremely rare that we can pull off very dark eyes and dark lips (unless you're going for a goth look). So concentrate on one or the other.
For an everyday look, I usually use some light foundation, black mascara, pale/shimmery eyeshadow and lip balm. Liquid liner is a great option for something classier. Prune and brownish tones make blue eyes stand out more, but avoid blue eyeliners as they make the eyes look smaller. Also, wine-coloured lipstick with the right clothes and hairstyle makes you look instantly glamorous.
Try wearing a fake tan, but not a dark colour - just a light one to give you a bit of summer colour. Wear a taupe eye shadow with brown liner on the bottom lashes only and a brown/black mascara. The light tan and the browny shades of shadow will enhance, without doubt, your blue eyes. And to liven your lips up don't brown them, but pink them. Try Syrup from Mac.
Im the same as you. Our comdination might seem annoying at times but were actully lucky, we can pull of so many different things. The smokey eye affect is brilliant for us as long as you dont use blue eyeshadow. NEVER use it!! The best mascara and eyeline to use is brown or black/brown, its much less harsh. Also I found 17 foundation in Fair is amazing. It doesnt even look or feel like your wearing anything and even better its only €7.
i sometimes get a bit red in the cheeks, and i didn't used to be able to find any concealer's that cover up the redness of my cheeks and also blend in with my fair complexion, but i recentley bought some maybelline dream matte concealer in the lightest shade and it looks great. I also always wear a light pink eyeshadow and black mascara because i don't like anything heavy, and also plain clear lipgloss from opia at primark for only £1 which i thought was a bargain
A good sun block is a way to keep your fair skin healthier from UV rays.
As for your features you probably would look good also in eyeshadows in shades of pink and beige as long as they are a bit darker than your skin tone.
As for lipsticks or lip glosses, definitely nude shades would be a good look for you because it would stand out, but also look natural.
I'm blonde and pale with light green eyes. You can pull off dark eye make-up, but unless you're looking a goth look don't wear a dark lipstick. Don't go over the top with dark make up though as it will make your eyes look small.
I am blonde with fair skin and blue eyes and i make sure I use a good sunblock and find brown eyeshadows are best for my eyes with brown mascara and rosy pink blusher for cheeks. I keep my lips simple with lip balm- hope this helps.
I always put on a shine control moisturiser before applying my fair foundation as it gives a more even, matte effect.
For eyes, everyday bold eyes look better with brown mascara and eyeliner for a sexier, more night outlook use black mascara and black pencil eyeliner, for a smokey look wet the end of the pencil before use.
for lips i find just using a colourless moisturiser or nude shade works best for fair hair and complexion.
