I too have known the horror of moths. It's war basically:
1. Mothballs - traditional stinky white balls for packing away clothes not in use and less offensive lavendar ones available from John Lewis for clothes in use.
2. Airtight storage. I prefer plastic storage boxes with lids so I can see what I have. For items not in use I recommend vacu-pack bags, also available from John Lewis.
2. Wash EVERYTHING. Even if stored somewhere "safe". Take items DIRECTLY from the line or drying rack and touch NOTHING, but place straight into airtight storage with moth balls.
3. Vacuum/wash all floors. Try to keep as little stored on the floor as possible, any undistrubed area e.g. forgotten storage under the bed is a breeding groun.
It sounds harsh, but you have to be extreme if you want them gone.
