Before a big night I do my hair and makeup (which admittedly doesn't take long as am speed-freak) before having a bath or shower. It always looks better a bit "sunk in" and less "done."

Day before: 1)remove all nail varnish especially if its old and shape nails nicely with file. Remember hands and feet. You need to do this the day before so you aren't rushed on the big night also so you dont smell of nailvernish remover. 2) If your hair/skin is dry apply a moisturising mask. 3)drink lots of water to improove complexion The day-get in the mood with some music, have ONE glass of wine when you're geting ready to take a bit off the nerves. 1)have shower, wash hair, remove hair from under arm legs (or any where else), wash your face in shower and moisturise when you get out 2) towel dry hair then blow dry/style 3) apply makeup 4) gather essentials for your bag keys phone money eyc.. 5)put on outfit last- you dont want any stainage before you go.

Give yourself LOTS of time! Exfoliate, shave, moisturize, paint your nails, do your hair, do your makeup, get dressed, its pretty simple. I usually have a couple drinks while I'm getting ready and listen to upbeat music to put me in a good mood. Having friends over always helps so they can have an opionion on your appearance. Throwing some curls in your hair and applying a little more eye makeup will make you look more "done-up".

Have any hair waxed away roughly 2 days before the event to give the red time to go away. Try your outfit on the night before just to make sure you still want to wear it. On the actual day have a bath, dry and straighten your hair asap, book yourself in to have your nails done, either french manicure or some nice coloured flicks to go with your outfit. Go home do your make up (defo while listenning to music and sipping a glass of wine!), do your hair again and then slip into your outfit! oh and enjoy and relax!!
