The only way you'll get cigarette smoke odour out of anything is by vacuuming and then washing/dry cleaning everything that may be keeping the smell, eg carpets, sofas.
Air the room afterwards and see if that helps.
If the odour still persists, try using baking soda on whatever still smalls (textiles etc) Sprinkle liberally on the item, wait an hour then hoover off! Test on a small area first.
If that still wont work, try a bowl of vinegar. Filla large bowl with the stuff, leave overnight and in the morning the vinegar shoud have absorbed the remaining smell.
If the smell is in your house oust is a really good air freshner, if its on your clothes and you haven't got time to wash them spray some febreeze on them, always does the trick! If its in your hair avon do a fresh hair extender spray, just spray this stuff in your hair, rub in well & it smells lovely again!
I've read that you should boil white vinegar and water to get rid of cigarette smell. If it's in a bathroom or adjacent room, fill a sink or bathtub with super hot water and some white vinegar.
Open the windows and use an odour neutraliser spray. Then leave an incense candle on for a while which gives a nice scent to the room - nag champa is the best one!
