If you're out and about & remember something you need to do when you get home, put a reminder in your mobile and set it to alert you at a time when you know you'll be indoors.

How to remember things

post-it notes!! If I need to do something before I go to bed I'll stick a post it on the bathroom mirror etc Works a charm!

have a pad of paper by your bed and a pen and everytime you need to remember somethig write it down so that when you wake up, you immediately see it!

Get a Daily Planner and check it every morning, noon and night Get a PDA and fill it in on the daily.. Email reminders to yourself If it is extremely important have a trusted friend call you and remind you. Remember, it is about organizing, too!!

I send myself emails too, on time delay to when I really need to do them. I tend to think of things in the middle of the night, so I keep a pen and notebook by the bed to write them down and go back to sleep.

When I'm away from home I "CALL MYSELF"...leave a message on your home answering machine. That way it can remain there until you complete the task by not erasing it. It works for me EVERYTIME!!!

I text myself with the idea, information or whatever and only delete the text when I've done it/bought it etc. If you remember when you are in bed that you need to do something the next day, then throw your bedside book or teddy at the bedroom door. When you get up in the morning the odd place that you find the book/teddy in will remind you!

There are some fantastic little notebooks in the shops with spiral spines to fold over & elastic so you can mark what page you are on - perfect to write reminders/to do lists & will fit in your bag or your pocket or just leave on the passenger car seat. It's a good idea to to put reminders on your phone in the organiser section & as already mentioned post it notes - lots of colours & shapes out there.

Write it down ! At home there is a small pad of paper in the kitchen where I build up my shopping list and make other notes that both of us can see and act upon. At work I always have a To Do List that I compile at the end of the previous day. Remembering names is a problem for me sometimes. Once I am reminded of a name that I have forgotten, I repeat it in my mind at least ten times, whilst picturing that person and it usually sticks after then.

I use masking tape, its softer than cellotape and doesnt leave sticky black residue when you take it off, so I put abit over my watch face saying..what I need to remember. Sometimes use my mobile reminders but careful not to put 2.00pm in because if like my phone its 1400, cos if i put 2.00 it ends up AM. Diaries are great until you lose them in a rush. If you drive masking tape your steering wheel (collect milk on way home, get petrol, pick children up from there mates house, not school) also I leave masking tape on popular things I touch alot at work/home, like on edge of my coffee mug so when I go for a sip, tape is in the way. Tape on the mirror, tape on the remote, cross the TV etc. sometimes its cheaper then packs of post its!
