If you put a little fairy liquid into children's paints before they start it makes it a lot easier to clean up.

Put newspaper down and something to cover up the kids, old clothes or aprons will do. This way when they are done the newspaper can go in the recycling and their clothes in the wash.

I put a PVC or plastic table cloth on the table we use for painting. Just wipe it down when your done.
