Wear gloves. Don't flush the loo or it will overflow and make the next bit harder! To clear the blockage you need to force water down the loo which will unclog the blockage. This can be done with a plunger, by giving it several hard pushes with both hands. Make sure the water in the bowl is pushed at force through the trap and this should clear the blockage. If it still persists you may need to call a plumber as they have a 'wire worm' which they use the dislodge the offending item!

make sure that there is only a little bit of water in the toilet then full up a bucket of water - hold it quite high over the toilet and then flush the toilet and quickley pour the water from your bucket into the toilet AT THE SAME TIME - and ... your problems are over!!
