if you have recently painted a room....leave a few cups ( on average 4-5) half filled with milk overnight...the smell will diminish considerably

A few drops of lavender essential oils in a bowl of water while your painting and or left in the room overnight should help. Ive also heard a bowl of vinegar in the room can do the same trick
