Depending on how many bottles you have delivered, (we have just 2) we leave plastic plant pots which the milkman places over each bottle and secures with a stone. Yoghurt pots will also suffice.

How to stop birds and cats taking the milk tops off delivered milk bottles

Get a box with a lid (preferably with a catch to stop those cheeky cats!) and leave it by your front door. Ask your milkman to put the bottles in there, then close the catch!
