my sister is a hairdresser and i think the correct thing to do is to first tint your hair so it does not turn orange and then dye it the closest colour to your natural shade you can find.
Go to a professional. If your hair is bleached, it's damaged and needs a professional to correct the color. Believe me, you could end up with green or orange hair if you try to correct it at home.
I've found that a semi permanent like "casting" or similar worked for me, but I wanted to go back to a light brown/honey blomde. This will fade ALOT and will need re applying. Your natural hair colour is gone, not "under" the bleach, until it grows out. I HAVE TO AGGREE A HAIRDRESSER IS PROBABLY BEST!! But if finances are tight,(such as mine often are!) it may be worth a go.
