Materials: small table, table cloth, curtain or length of fabric, roomy sweater or jacket, mask, hat, boots, two operatives. Place the table in a doorway. Hang curtain in doorway with split in middle. Cover with table cloth and place before closed curtain in doorway. One person stands behind the table with mask and hat on, boots on hands which he places on the table and arranges as though very short legs, sweater or jacket back to front secured at back. Second person stands close behind with hands and arms in sweater or jacket. First person does the talking, may cause boots to dance a bit and directs hands verbally to scratch nose, shake hands, give out presents ie. "oh my nose is itchy", "what a pretty little girl on my right", etc. Causes wonder in young and hilarity in the more mature.

When I was this age, one of the best things I ever remember was the parachute! Basically lay the parachute >=5metres across, on the ground and then instruct the kids all to stand around it, have at least one adult in the group. Then pick it up, and make waves , doing a Mexican wave type thing, everyone has to shout a colour, or make an animal noise as it goes round. The other game you can play is, tag under neath as the parachute goes up and down theres brief glimpses of the person chasing you. Also you can put a beach ball on the chute and play hot potato.
