You have to curl them with a eyelash curler. It helps if you heat up the eyelash curler with your hair dryer but be careful not to burn yourself when you are curling your lashes.
Also, there is a fine balance between too little and too much mascara. Don't over apply your mascara because it will weigh your lashes down and people will look at your clumpy lashes and not at your beautiful, big eyes.
Take your mascara wand and put it on the bottom part of your lashes. Run the wand back and forth without taking it out of your lashes and then brush up the the tips. Repeat this a fer times. Essentially you are coating your lashes near the base of the lid. No matter how cheap or expensive the mascara you will have KILLER lashes.
Curl your eyelashes first. Then put one quick coat on the TOP of your eyelashes (going from the eyelid edge outwards) and then repeat on the usual underside of the lashes (going from the eyeball upwards). Gives your lashes thickness and lift!
put a spoon in the freezer to freeze. Then in the morning take it out and press it against your eyes for 5 mins each time. That makes your eyes a bit brighter and gets rid of bags. You know not only your eyelashes have to look good. The part for the eyelashes: you must take an ice and whole it under your eyelashes and then gently bring it up. Then the bottom eyelash, you must make sure you wear the eye pencil. But dont over do it.
Bend the end of your mascara wand. This will help ypur mascara reach the roots of your lashes, making them much more longer and curly. Also close your eye when applying, this makes sure that the mascara reaches the tips of your eyelashes too.
Bit drastic this one but it works! go to a beautician who does permament eye make up and have her do your inside upper lid ,this gives the illusion of lots of lashes at the base, can be expensive though! You can do it yourself with a good quality eyeliner pencil, one that's not too soft but be aware that it can smudge onto your lower lids, not for long days!!Use a good quality thickening mascara , I like Estee Lauder Magnascopic.Ali161
Work eyeliner pencil into the roots (or as close as you can get)of your upper eyelashes. Use eyelash curlers and two layers of mascara on the upper lashes and one layer on the lower ones. Elizabeth Arden Double Density Mascara is the best!!!!
LashFusion Micro-Technology Pure Protein Lash Plump in Black/Brown and L’Oreal HiP High Drama Volumizing Mascara - Ultimate Black are two products to use to make your eyelashes thicker.
Yes!! Dior showgirl is amazing. However remember to curl your eyelashes before you apply mascara and NEVER afterwards otherwise it can damage your eyelashes and cause them to break
Try using a different colour mascara. e.g if you have light coloured hair, try using brown. it makes your eyes look a lot more subtle. Also yourself a black and grey eye line(if using black mascara) and gently draw on a thin swept line over your lids. Blend gently with a cotton bud so that you have a really thin smudged/blended line. This will give the base of your lashes a little bit more definition. Then with the mascara wand hold the brush at the base of the lashes and gently wiggle a bit and pull through. Try not to layer if you don't have many eye lashes as this will make them appear clumpy
Make sure you remove your old mascara with something that has a conditioning effect.
Try TWO FACED brand, it really clings to your lashes and makes them look much thicker without clumping.
If you curl your eyelashes and then apply Maybelline XXL Curl Power Volume + Curl Step 1
first then apply Rimmel Volume Lash on top of that your lashes will look gorgeous and full and very girly after that apply black eyeliner to the top of your eyelid it looks amazing !

Apply vaseline every night after you take off your mascara. I often have difficulty removing mine, and so remove it with GLISS HAIR REPAIR shampoo... to my surprise it strengthened and lengthened my previously brittle lashes, but for the love of god do NOT get the damn stuff in your eyes. Finally, brand means nothing. I have used YSL and Collection 2000 and actually preferred the latter. xo
