Peeing immediately after you’ve given birth is incredibly painful. As you pee, pour a tooth-mug of warm water between your legs. It really helps.

It is less painful after just given birth to pee in the bath, this may sound not nice but urine is sterile and can do you no harm

This might sound silly... but Vaseline, just a touch of it on the "torn" area before you pee. Part of what is so painful is the uric acids in the wounds, Vaseline will create a sheild...

I know this sounds weird but I used to put my hands on the toilet floor and raise my bottom so that when I wee'd the urine would fall forward instead of back onto the stitched area.It really helped me as I had an episiotomy.It works honest!!
