How to get better at photography

Make sure that you have a play with all the settings on your camera, whether it's digital or more old fashioned. But even more importantly, remember to take a note of what it is you change and the effects it has. You will learn about your camera ten times more quickly with a little bit more patience.

it also depends on what type of photography you want to do, what effects you want to achieve. Are you shooting in daylight or nighttime? do you want crisp, clear, undistored pictures or some motion blur? do you want depth to your photos so that the background is blurred but the foreground is sharp?
first thing to do is practice taking photos in several different lighting conditions with the aim of getting perfect, focused, crisp photos. This will give you the first lesson on your type of camera.
The 4 most important elements to photography (in my opinion) are: Lighting, aparture, focal length and shutter speed. Mix and match all four to get a nearly endless output of effects

take a photo class at a community college or Recreation center, some of the things they will teach may seem silly, but as you learn more technical features of your camera, you are able to find your own style. if you really want to improve, take your camera everywhere. go to local events with your friends... you'd be surprised at the empowerment you feel, when you get into places you normally wouldn't be aloud just because you have a big shiny camera

one of the most common mistakes people make is to put sun or any other bright strong light in background .infact it darkens the whole picture .secondly make sure that frame is pretty much balanced before you push to click
