How to squeeze on tight boots
-
If you are trying to put on some boots and your legs are too clammy or the boots have a rough interior that prevents them sliding nicely up your leg, put your foot into the point of a plastic carrier bag and pull the boot on over the bag. Once the boot is up smoothly, pull the plastic bag until it breaks, and pull it up and out of the boot.

The best way to pull on tight boots (and guarantee they come off later) is to have a pair of cheap knee highs, generously sprinkle them with baby powder, and put them on to just below the length of the boot on your leg. The knee highs create a smooth surface and the baby powder stops the moisture which allows the boot to just slide on and off.

Tie a shoe lace to the zip, this way you can pull the zip further without hurting your fingers. I work in a shoe shop and have had loads of practice. Also make sure the leg is straight. Another idea is to buy the boots which have been on display, as other people have stretched them first, just make sure you check them for any marks especially the soles of the shoes if the shop has wooden floors. This works really well if your right leg is fatter as the right foot is tried on more than the left

Try not to! They will hurt your feet and harm your posture. I it's necessary, push your hands into the boots and almost knead them. They should stretch slightly. Also always wears socks as it will help your feet and let them slip in more easily.
