Next time he or anyone else says something offensive, look him straight in the eye and say, very calmly, "I don't find that funny at all and I'd appreciate it if you kept comments like that to yourself". He may bluster about you having no sense of humour etc, but stand your ground and make sure he knows you're pissed off. The important thing is to remain icily calm - tears and tantrums never win in these situations. If he ignores your wishes, refuse future invitations and let them know that you've better things to do with your time than be the butt of their jokes.

Don't keep their company and if they ask why, tell them unless you change your ways I'm not part of your family.
