I have long, straight, layered hair, I need a nice updo for my birthday party, any suggestions?

-curl your hair -backcomb it and secure with hairspray -ponytail and curl the ends! -get small pieces of hair and grip them to the back of your head and do that with all your hair and it looks really good! and hairspray! -get a really nice hair accesory to clip in! -crimp it! [very in style at the moment!] -messy bun -Beehive or if you dont like any of those go on youtube for hair tutorials or look in magazines for inspiration!
