You want energy without sugar? Hmmmm....difficult to explain how the body works in a few small words. However, it would be easier to know why you want to be without sugar?
Carbohydrates give you energy but ultimately they are all sugar. (glucose) its just that dietitians have this idea that scaring people into thinking sugar is bad is a good idea.
Pasta, for example, will give you energy and it will also fill you up and release that energy slower than a teaspoon of sugar. However, pasta is a starch (also rice, potatoes, bread etc) and if the energy in the starch isnt burnt off, it will convert into fat eventually.
Sugar is not bad for you and I am fed up of the 'Authorities' giving false information about sensible diets. It is the overindulgence of ANYTHING that is bad for people, not a sensible, balanced diet.

cont.......... Also cutting sugar out of a diet will NOT help you to lose weight but a balance of carbohydrates, sugars, vegetables, etc etc will!! In answer to your question specifically, it would depend on what you have in mind. Are you wanting to avoid putting weight on? Are you trying to lose weight? Or is it just that you feel you need more energy at certain times of the day?

You mean concentrated sugar right? Frozen fruit like grapes, or bananas and blueberries are wonderfully delicious and healthy!
