I am a huge fan of the power plate. These are expensive to buy, but are available for use at many health clubs. I, and others, have seen very effective results through regular use. You do however, need to combine this with some cardiovascular exercise, such as using a cross- trainer (also available at health clubs). If you can find a good health club, with genuinely interested staff, they will advise you about an effective exercise regime- these days a lot of gyms offer trial memberships so that you can try them out without committing yourself.

it depends what benefit you want to see really, but one thing you actually want to concentrate more on in terms of gaining anything from excercise is actually what happens after. When you exercise your body is preparing itself for change (lamence terms, you don't lose/gain any wieght/muscle etc DURING exercise) its how your body recovers after exercise that will determine the change that takes place. Once you know what your goals are you can then determine what rest you need afterwards, what foods you need to eat and can then determine how often/how long you exercise.
